Packing bags for travel poses many questions. Not least what to take and what not to take? Certainly the one thing you leave at home will, without doubt, be the very thing you will end up needing the most while away.
Well, there is no doubt that Australia is the place to be, and if you are visiting from overseas for business, pleasure or study, then an Inbound Travel Insurance policy is an absolutely essential thing to pack before you leave home or if you find yourself in Australia without insurance cover. Australian Inbound Travel Insurance is specifically designed for non-Australian residents visiting Australia, so if you are touring and taking in the spectacular scenery of the outback, splashing in the surf on the world's best beaches or soaking up the atmosphere and excitement of the city then you need to focus on enjoying the experience. With an Easy Travel Insurance Inbound plan you can relax and travel with complete peace of mind.
Inbound Travel Insurance is only available to non-residents of Australia entering on a temporary basis who are aged under 81 years with no pre-existing medical conditions unless exempt as per the PDS.
It can be purchased prior to arrival, or within 7 days of arrival into Australia provided your trip includes travel within Australia and only covers you for your return to your normal country of residence.
Policies issued more than 7 days after arrival into Australia have a 28 day waiting period from the issue of certificate of insurance for medically related claims.
This cover includes cover for accompanying financially dependant child or children under 25 years at no additional cost. Please refer to Product Disclosure Statement for details.
